FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A350-1041 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus SAS Model A350-1041 airplanes to address a safety concern related to rejected take-offs due to engine speed exceedance, requiring replacement of hydro-mechanical units (HMUs) before reaching a reduced life limit.
