EPA Adds 12 Toxic Chemicals to Right-to-Know Reporting Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has added 12 toxic chemicals to the list of substances subject to reporting requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and the Pollution Prevention Act (PPA), following a petition filed under EPCRA. The EPA has also designated one chemical as a persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic (PBT) substance with a 100-pound reporting threshold.
