FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing 747 models, requiring a one-time inspection and repair of composite trim air diffuser ducts due to heat exposure, in an effort to address an unsafe condition.
