EPA Approves Canola Oil Pathways for Renewable Diesel, Jet Fuel, and Other Fuels

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that canola oil-based fuels meet the 50% lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions reduction threshold for advanced biofuels and biomass-based diesel under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program, making them eligible for Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).
