Coastwise Endorsement Eligibility Determination for a Foreign-Built Vessel: THE PURPUS (Sail); Invitation for Public Comments

The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request to determine the eligibility of a foreign-built vessel, THE PURPUS, to carry passengers for hire in the U.S. The vessel will have a capacity for twelve passengers or less and MARAD wants to know how this may impact U.S. vessel builders and businesses using U.S.-flag vessels.
