NMFS Imposes Commercial Closure on Atlantic Migratory Group Cobia in Federal Waters

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is closing the commercial sector for Atlantic migratory group cobia in Federal waters off Georgia through New York, effective December 16, 2022, until January 1, 2023, to protect the Atlantic cobia resource and prevent overfishing.
