U.S. Department of Energy Announces Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Grain Belt Express Transmission Line Project

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced its intent to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Grain Belt Express Transmission Line Project, a proposed 530-mile-long high-voltage direct-current transmission line that would span across Kansas and Missouri, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
