Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone for New Year's Fireworks Display in Port of Valdez, Alaska

The U.S. Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone off the coast of Valdez, Alaska, to restrict access to mariners during the New Year's fireworks display. The zone will be in effect from the water surface down to the seabed, 150 yards from the fireworks launching point at Sea Otter Point.
