FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG (RRD) TAY 620-15 and TAY 650-15 turbofan engines due to reports of cracks on the high-pressure turbine stage 2 intermediate air seal attachment bolts. The directive requires repetitive inspections and possible replacement of affected components.
