FMCSA Grants 2-Year Exemption to State of Alaska for Restricted CDL Issuance

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted a two-year exemption to the State of Alaska to issue restricted commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) in areas without sufficient infrastructure, allowing drivers to bypass the full skills test and also exempting them from Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations.
