US Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone for Savannah's New Year's Eve Fireworks Show

The US Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone along the Savannah River in Georgia to protect people, boats, and the environment from potential hazards caused by the fireworks display during the Savannah's Waterfront New Year's Eve event. The safety zone is enforced by the Captain of the Port Savannah, and unauthorized entry is prohibited.
