Notice on Penalty Inflation Adjustments for Civil Monetary Penalties

The Social Security Administration is updating its maximum civil monetary penalties, which will take effect from January 15, 2023, through January 14, 2024, in response to the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015, and reflect an annual adjustment for inflation.
