FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747-400 and 747-8 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Boeing's 747-400 and 747-8 series airplanes, requiring inspections and corrective actions to address a safety issue related to wear-through of the motor impeller inlet adapter of the horizontal stabilizer fuel tank.
