Southern California Edison Receives NRC Exemption for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern California Edison, allowing the company to establish a controlled area boundary for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station's independent spent fuel storage installation at a distance less than 100 meters, as required by NRC regulation.
