United Nuclear Corporation to Dispose of Mine Waste at Church Rock Uranium Mill Site

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is issuing a final Environmental Impact Statement and Programmatic Agreement for United Nuclear Corporation's request to dispose of 1 million cubic yards of mine waste at its uranium mill site in New Mexico, with the goal of protecting cultural resources during the project.
