Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC to Extend Public Scoping Period for Oconee Nuclear Station License Renewal

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has decided to extend the public scoping period for a supplemental environmental impact statement (EIS) to evaluate the environmental impacts of a license renewal at Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, due to a request from the public to provide more time to submit comments.
