U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Regulations to Certify NuScale Small Modular Reactor Design

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has amended its regulations to certify the NuScale standard design for a small modular reactor, allowing applicants to construct and operate the design by referencing this certification rule, with NuScale Power, LLC being the applicant for certification.
