U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International Spent Fuel Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of March 22, 2023, for a direct final rule that amended the Holtec International HI-STORM Flood/Wind Multipurpose Canister Storage System listing within the List of approved spent fuel storage casks, including Amendment No. 6 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1032.
