NRC Grants Exemption to Southern Nuclear for Lead Test Assemblies at Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 2

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company to use specific lead test assemblies with higher uranium enrichment at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 2, for a limited period.
