NRC Proposes Amendments to Nuclear Power Plant Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations to incorporate the latest editions of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants, Division 1: OM Code, to ensure the safety of nuclear power plants and streamline NRC activities.
