NRC Assumes Regulatory Authority for Sealed Source and Device Applications in New York

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has taken over the evaluation and approval of sealed source and device applications in New York, effective August 9, 2023, following the Governor's request to transfer this authority.
