NRC Issues Revised Regulatory Guide for Volcanic Hazards Assessment at Proposed Nuclear Power Reactor Sites

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing an updated version of its Regulatory Guide 4.26, which assesses volcanic hazards for proposed nuclear power reactor sites, to restore missing text and a section heading, and to make minor updates to the Paperwork Reduction Act, following public comment on the draft guide.
