U.S. NRC Approves Long-Term Surveillance Plan for Uranium Mill Tailings Disposal Site in Wyoming

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved a Long-Term Surveillance Plan for the Split Rock, Wyoming Uranium Mill Tailings Radiation Control Act Title II Disposal Site, following a review of the plan submitted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on April 29, 2020.
