NRC Grants Exemption to Holtec for Reduced Insurance Requirements at Indian Point Nuclear Plant

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC, allowing it to reduce the required level of primary offsite liability insurance from $450 million to $100 million and eliminate secondary financial protection for the Indian Point Energy Center.
