DoD, GSA, and NASA Issue Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Semiconductor Products and Services

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have issued an advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement a prohibition on procuring certain semiconductor products and services, effective December 23, 2027. The deadline for submitting comments has been extended to August 2, 2024.
