DOD, GSA, and NASA Propose Ban on Reverse Auctions for Complex Construction Services

The Department of Defense (DOD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to prohibit the use of reverse auctions for complex, specialized, or substantial design and construction services, as mandated by the Construction Consensus Improvement Act of 2021.
