Federal Acquisition Regulation: Prohibition on Unmanned Aircraft Systems From Covered Foreign Entities

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have issued an interim rule to implement a ban on purchasing and operating unmanned aircraft systems made by companies from certain countries, as mandated by the American Security Drone Act. Comments on the proposed rule are now due by January 27, 2025, after being extended from January 13, 2025.
