U.S. Trade Representative Requests Comments on Proposed Tariff Modifications and Machinery Exclusion Process

The U.S. Trade Representative is seeking public comments on proposed modifications to tariffs on Chinese products, including the addition of ad valorem rates and the exclusion of certain machinery from tariffs, as part of a four-year review of actions taken in the Section 301 investigation of China's Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation.
