OSM Approves Texas Regulatory Program Amendment to Encourage Reclamation

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) has approved an amendment to the Texas regulatory program, which includes revised annual permit fees aimed at improving operational efficiency and facilitating quicker land reclamation, in line with the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA).
