FCC Amends Rules on Exempted Calls Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated its rules to give callers the choice between oral or written consent to make more calls than the current limits on exempted artificial or prerecorded voice message calls to residential phone lines, while maintaining existing numerical limits and opt-out requirements.
