FDA Releases Draft Guidance on AAFCO-Defined Animal Feed Ingredients

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft guidance for industry (GFI #293) outlining its enforcement policy for animal feed ingredients defined by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). The policy will take effect after the expiration of the FDA's memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AAFCO in October 2024.
