FSIS to Expand Generic Label Approval for Meat, Poultry, and Egg Products

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is amending its regulations to expand the circumstances under which it will generically approve labels for meat, poultry, and egg products, and will no longer evaluate these labels for establishments and egg products plants that voluntarily submit them for review.
