USDA Releases National Average Value of Donated Foods for 2023-2024 School Year

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released the national average value of donated foods or cash in lieu of donated foods for the 2023-2024 school year. This value will be used to determine the reimbursement rates for schools and institutions participating in the National School Lunch Program and Child and Adult Care Food Program.
