USDA Delays Organic Livestock and Poultry Standards Rule
The US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is delaying the effective date of the Organic Livestock and Poultry Standards (OLPS) final rule by 10 days to comply with the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996, which requires at least 60 days of congressional review. The delay affects the compliance date for certain requirements, but other dates remain unchanged.
