EPA Sets Submission Requirements for California's Eastern Kern Nonattainment Area to Meet 2008 Ozone NAAQS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established a schedule for the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to submit revisions to the state implementation plan (SIP) addressing 'Severe' area requirements for the 2008 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) in the Eastern Kern nonattainment area, with deadlines of January 7, 2023, and January 7, 2022, respectively.
