FHWA to Re-designate Primary Highway Freight System (PHFS) to Meet FAST Act Requirements

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is re-designating the PHFS, which includes 41,518 centerline miles of roadway, to meet the statutory requirements of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, with the potential to add up to 1,246 miles of additional mileage.
