NOAA Announces Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Bering Sea Halibut Management Amendment

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has released a draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) assessing the potential environmental impacts of a proposed management measure to link the Pacific halibut prohibited species catch limit to halibut abundance in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands groundfish fisheries, pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
