The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters to address a reported issue with chafing marks on a wiring harness, which could pose a safety risk.
