EPA Solicits Public Comment on NASA's Request for Emergency Exemption for Pesticide Ortho-Phthalaldehyde

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has received a request from NASA to use the pesticide ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA) to treat bacteria in the International Space Station's coolant fluid, and is seeking public comment on the proposal before making a decision.
