FAA Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for Safran Helicopter Engines Turboshaft Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to update an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for Safran Helicopter Engines' Arrius 2B1, 2B1A, 2B1A-1, and 2B2 turboshaft engines, which requires replacing the software in the engine electronic control unit (EECU) to address an unsafe condition.
