U.S. Department of Energy Denies Petition for New Consumer Furnace Test Procedure

The U.S. Department of Energy has denied a petition by the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute to develop a new combined test procedure for consumer warm air furnaces and furnace fans, which would replace existing performance metrics.
