EPA Approves Iowa State Implementation Plan Revisions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving revisions to the Iowa State Implementation Plan (SIP) to update definitions, references to effective dates, and permitting exemptions, while also prohibiting the burning of demolished buildings and revising performance test and continuous monitoring systems. These changes will not negatively affect air quality and ensure consistency with federally approved rules.
