U.S. Department of Energy Reverses Interpretation of Appliance Standards

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to revert to its previous interpretation of appliance standards, which would exempt non-condensing technology in residential furnaces and commercial water heaters from energy conservation standards.
