Criteria for Determining Maternity Care Health Professional Target Areas

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will establish criteria to identify Maternity Care Health Professional Target Areas (MCTAs) in existing Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs), as required by the Public Health Service Act, in accordance with a notice from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
