Coastwise Endorsement Eligibility Determination for a Foreign-Built Vessel: SALMON PRINCESS (Motor); Invitation for Public Comments

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request to determine the eligibility of a foreign-built vessel, the SALMON PRINCESS (Motor), to carry passengers for hire in the U.S. The vessel, which can carry up to 12 passengers, has prompted concerns from U.S. vessel builders and businesses that use U.S.-flag vessels.
