NMFS Proposes Mandatory Time-Area Closures for Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing a regulation under the Marine Mammal Protection Act to establish mandatory time-area closures for Hawaiian spinner dolphins at five sites in the Main Hawaiian Islands to reduce dolphin take and disturbance from human activities.
