EPA Establishes Allowance Allocation and Trading Program for Phasedown of Hydrofluorocarbons Under American Innovation and Manufacturing Act

The Environmental Protection Agency is issuing regulations to implement the phasedown of hydrofluorocarbons, which are highly potent greenhouse gases, by 85 percent over a period ending in 2036, as mandated by the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020.
