DOE to Certify Mo-99 Supply Without HEU, Seeks Public Input

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is preparing to certify a sufficient supply of molybdenum-99 (Mo-99) produced without the use of highly enriched uranium (HEU), as required by the American Medical Isotopes Production Act of 2012, and is seeking public input on the matter.
