NMFS Issues Scientific Research Permit for Black Abalone Under Endangered Species Act

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a scientific research permit to the NMFS Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, California, to increase knowledge of black abalone and inform management and conservation efforts under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
