bp Issues Letters of Authorization for Marine Mammal Surveys in Gulf of Mexico

The US government has issued three Letters of Authorization to bp Exploration & Production Inc. for the incidental taking of marine mammals during geophysical surveys related to oil and gas activities in the Gulf of Mexico, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act.
